At King River Ranch, most of our couples are planning a destination wedding. We’ve had many couples from Houston, Dallas, Midland, and some as far as Australia, California, Alaska, and Washington D.C. With that, we quickly saw the need to offer on-site accommodation options to our couples. While there are more than enough places to stay nearby, (be sure to check out our Texas Hill Country Guide which makes it easy to live like a local), many of our couples and their families have jumped at the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of King River Ranch for more than just their wedding day.
RIVER COTTAGE
The original “ranch house” is ready to be your Hill Country home base. Over 3,000 square feet, complete with 2 separate living areas, a screen porch, fully stocked kitchen, and 4 bedrooms + 3 baths with tasteful finishes throughout, you will feel right at home.
GUEST QUARTERS
The west-wing:
1 bedroom with 2 sets of full-sized bunk beds (4) beds total
1 shared full bath with tub/shower combo
1 bedroom with 1 set of full-sized bunk beds (2) beds total
1 master suite with king-sized bed and private full bath with a walk-in shower, and door connecting to the screen porch
The east-wing:
1 bedroom with 1 set of bunk beds - full-size up/queen-size down (2) beds total
1 bathroom with walk-in shower
Upstairs loft with additional twin mattress for overflow guests

THE LUXURY SUITE
Our riverfront luxury suite is one of our newest and most loved additions at the ranch. The private studio-style suite is complete with a queen canopy bed, sitting area, dining table, SmartTV, kitchenette with coffee maker and mini fridge, and bathroom with soaking tub. Many of our couples opt for the Luxury Suite the night of their wedding.

Q: What if I want additional nights?
A: 3 months from your wedding date, we will contact you to let you know if a wedding has not booked surrounding dates and offer you the option of extending your stay with us. If you want to guarantee overnight for the entire weekend at the time of booking, our WEEKEND BUYOUT PACKAGE may be for you!
